Mission Skills, Inc is a 501(c)(3) public charity. Charitable giving to Mission Skills Inc is tax deductible to the fullest extent of the law.
Serving healthcare professionals with high-quality simulation and procedural training, Mission Skills exists to bring opportunity for all healthcare professionals regardless of their financial capacity through donations of time and resources, and corporate philanthropy.
Mission Skills functions within three main domains:
Nursing Scholarships, Mission Skills Academy, and Community Outreach.

Matt Hunt, BSN, RN
Mission Skills has fully funded the October 2019 medical mission for participants to go to Haiti and perform OR surgical and post-surgical care in the intensive care unit.
As a veteran of this medical mission, Matt will be training several new members also receiving the benefits of Mission Skills Academy.
Investing your resources in Mission Skills generates ripples to places you might not expect. Those directly impacted may never know your role, but they know the expression of love.

What would it look like for Rockford as a community to invest in the future of our home-grown medical experts? What if a small financial push in the right direction allowed healthcare professionals to develop a role for the future of healthcare in the greater stateline area?
Our endowment fund will empower the future of healthcare with the great minds Rockford has to offer, and aim to keep them here to build the patient-provider relationship unique to a local provider caring for their local community.

Trained to a Higher Caliber
Resources for medical missions trips require a dedicated host of skills to be the most effective. We train each and every medical mission trip participant with a basic suturing workshop, office procedures workshop, and a point of care ultrasound workshop. Our participants are able to perform these skills on those in need while in-theater.
In addition to training for medical missions trips, Mission Skills provides direct funding for mission trip enrollment and expenses.

With our organization’s mission always in mind, we strive to find new strategies for dealing with the unique challenges of a largely underserved community.
